The all sky camera is a raspberry pi connected to a ASI 178MM monochrome CCD camera. The pi collects a 25 second exposure every 30 seconds. These single frames are combined into an AVI file to produce a timelapse video.

The camera is supplied with a 2.5mm lens providing a 170 degree view of the sky. A plastic hood protects the camera and computer; all housed in a plywood box attached to the top of the solar cell panel frame.
